| How many Auto Vaccine Kits will my job require? |
| It depends on the size of your vehicle. Each Auto Vaccine Kit will treat up to 300 square feet. Thus, a car or truck can be treated with one (1) kit while a larger vehicle such as a bus or motorhome may require more. |
| Can I stay in the vehicle while the product is in use? |
| While Auto Vaccine is safe for humans, pets and even plants, we do not recommend being in the vehicle while the product is activated for any extended period of time. Like most cleaning solutions, the vapor may irritate eyes and throat. It is completely safe however to enter the vehicle for a short period of time to inspect the product or to start the vehicle to circulate the ventilation system. |
| Do I need to remove or cover any delicate items, food or plants? |
| No. Our product is safe for plants, food, and other delicate items including electronic equipment. Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) essentially breaks down into a safe saltwater solution. |
| Will I need to shut off the motor in my vehicle? |
| No. Auto Vaccine is not flammable in any way. Simply make sure that the vehicle, if running, is outdoors. |
| Does Auto Vaccine leave a film that needs to be cleaned up after treatment? |
| No. Our product evaporates into a basic saltwater solution leaving no residue whatsoever. |
| Does Auto Vaccine emit any smell? |
| You will notice a distinct chlorine smell immediately after using the product. Simply open the windows for at least fifteen (15) minutes - the smell will dissipate completely. Additionally, air and natural light facilitates a rapid break down of remaining vapor. |
| Is Auto Vaccine safe for pets and humans? |
| Yes, our products are EPA approved safe for pets and humans. Our only advice is to not be in the vehicle while the product is activated. There is no residue or lingering odor that will cause harm to animals or humans. Interestingly, Chlorine Dioxide has been shown to actually benefit plants by destroying bacteria and mold that may cause disease and decay. |
